Clonetics™ offers a variety of different endothelial media kits. They have varied formulations and are optimized to grow certain primary cell types and are guaranteed to perform when used to grow Clonetics™ Primary Cells.
Endothelial Media BulletKits™ are optimized for certain cell types
• EGM™-2 BulletKit™ - Aortic and Pulmonary artery endothelial cells, EGM™-2 HUVECs cat. no. C2517A and C2519A, contains 2% FBS
• EGM™-2MV BulletKit™ - Coronary and Iliac artery, cardiac, lung, and dermal microvascular endothelial cells, contains 5% FBS
• EGM™ BulletKit™ - EGM™ HUVECs cat. no. CC-2517 and CC-2519, contains 2% FBS
• EGM™-MV BulletKit™ - Uterine Microvascular Cells, contains 5% FBS
EGM™-2 Endothelial Cell Growth Medium-2 is an enhancement of EGM™ Medium. BBE has been removed and there has been further optimization of the basal media.
Media are supplied in several formats:
• Basal Medium- contains no growth factors, cytokines, or supplements
• SingleQuots™ Kit - growth factors, cytokines, and supplements
• BulletKit™ - basal medium and SingleQuots™ Kit packaged together
